Support Me

I am raising money for Be The Match because I’m passionate about saving lives!

Please help me reach my fundraising goal by making a tax-deductible contribution. Your gift delivers cures to patients desperate for a second chance at life. The money I raise will help add new potential bone marrow and blood stem cell donors to the registry, assist patients with uninsured transplant costs, and fund innovative research to improve transplant outcomes.

Every dollar counts, and together, we can make a difference!

Darlene Bennett's Story-

My passion for Be The Match is my brother passing away from leukemia at the age of 6. Being a part of his cancer journey and knowing the effect it has had on my family is a major factor in my volunteerism and my motivation to support and share the mission of Be The Match

I was recently reminded of the importance of Be The Match when a family friend was diagnosed with and battled leukemia. Bryce not only played basketball with my sons, but he also played against them; it was always a joy to see the boys playing the game they loved. When I learned of Bryce’s diagnosis, it really hit home because I knew what Bryce and his family were going through. When a bone marrow transplant was his last hope, I noticed that the odds of finding him a match were extremely low. That is when I realized I needed to do something to get more people on the registry in hopes of saving more lives. Ultimately, I want to promote awareness and help the many children, like my brother and Bryce, get the bone marrow transplants they need to survive.

It would mean the world to me for you to learn more about Be The Match and how you could help. Whether it is by donating to my page and/or joining the registry, I am thankful! I’m also open to conversation about my passion and my reasons for supporting this amazing organization. I can also connect you to our local Be The Match representative if need be.

Will you join me as I fight in memory of my brother, and in honor of Bryce, and others affected by blood related diseases?

If a  financial donation is not something you can make right now, don't worry you can still help by joining the registry or sharing this information with someone who can!
