It's time to put the FUN back in fundraising—and earn cool swag—while supporting patients with blood cancers and blood diseases.

GivingTuesday is November 29! GivingTuesday is a movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world. What better way to engage your family, friends, coworkers and local businesses to do good than by encouraging them to donate to your Be The Match^® Campus Chapter’s fundraising page?

To celebrate GivingTuesday, each chapter should plan to raise $1,000 between November 1 and December 31 to meet your fundraising goal for the year.

The first 10 chapters to raise $1,000 will receive a direct, one-time matching gift that will appear on their fundraising page as a $1,000 anonymous donation. Your thermometer will reflect the matching gift!

How fundraising helps save lives

Every three minutes someone in the United States is diagnosed with a blood cancer. For many, their only hope for a cure is a bone marrow transplant.

$20

covers the cost to send a Box of Hope care package to a patient.

$500

secures one week of temporary housing during transplant recovery.

$120

covers the cost to add a potential life-saving donor to the Be The Match Registry^®.

$1,000

covers the total lost wages for a marrow donor, allowing them to volunteer their time to save a stranger's life.

$300

provides tools and support for a research scientist to pursue new discoveries to prevent and treat post-transplant complications.

helps families make ends meet while the caregiver provides full-time care.

Every dollar you raise helps grow the registry to provide more matches, provide financial relief to patients and their families, and fund research to make transplant safer and more available to all patients.
